Stuart Rolt, Editor – Bn1 Magazine.
“We regularly work with David on a range of projects, including shooting portraits for features, live music coverage, and events reporting. He has repeatedly proved himself to be professional and adaptable, producing quality work in a range of different and dynamic situations.”
Julian Caddy, Managing Director, Brighton Fringe.
“David Smith has been one of Brighton Fringe’s core photographers for a number of years now and has fast become a valued member of our creative team; each year he effortlessly captures the vibrancy and essence of the festival. David clearly loves what he does and this is reflected in his work ethic: reliable, enthusiastic and passionate.”
Judi Thomas - Party in Your Pants.
“David has an incredible knack for being in the right place. There’s an awful lot going on at Party In Your Pants. With party-goers regularly inventing games to play, unanticipated moments abound. And somehow, he’s always there with his camera pointing in the right direction! The shots are beautiful, and his presence is never awkward, despite the fact that we’re all in our pants! Post production is prompt and professional too. I have no doubt that his photography has led directly to increased attendance at PIYP – a worthwhile investment!”
Ross Monaghan - Creative Director Linguistic Calligraphy / Co-Coordinator People Fest 2016
“I have had the pleasure of working with David on both small and large scale events, he has always been a welcome addition, bringing a genuine passion for what he does with a professional and relaxed attitude. Not to mention stunning results! He is a photographer that really understands the individuality of an event and never fails to capture its personality. He is a pin sharp professional that I would go back to time after time.”
Dave Samuel - Paddle Round The Pier
“David has been supporting Paddle Round The Pier for many years with some great shots. He has the natural ability to find the right subject at just the right time and frame it beautifully.”
